Frog Point Pottery welcomes you to our website  Come in and browse around.

Thanks for your patience everyone.  We had a major computer breakdown a while back, and it has taken quite a while to get it fixed.

If you are interested in stopping by the studio, just call us and set up an appointment.  (701-772-5883) If we are not in, leave us a message and we will give you a call back.  It is easiest to reach us evening and weekends.

Our Mission

We are a home studio that strives to produce a wide range of art pottery that is both collectable and unique.  We have a deep appreciation and love for nature and the natural resources around us.  We are also both interested in the history, skills and techniques of some of the artisans of the past.

Company Profile

We are an art pottery studio located in Grand Forks North Dakota. We create a wide range of pottery styles.

Scenic Pottery is created on vases, framed tiles, and assorted items. Topics include:

·         Prairie

·         Storms

·          Badlands

·         Wetlands

·         Prairie Jewels (wildflowers and common flowers of the prairie)

Frog Point Pottery began with creating molded figurines cast in clay. We continue to make these items and strive to add something new each season.

·         Wildlife figurines

·         farm animal figurines

We have been making the annual commemorative items for the North Dakota Pottery Collectors Society since 2003.   To see those pieces, click this link to their site.

 NDPCS Past Commemoratives

We have made commemorative items for other organizations as well.

·         Medallions

·         Commemorative items

Every once in a while we need to release a bit of potter stress. Sometimes things of a bizarre nature occur!   In 2005 we began creating face jugs and face jars to release tension. You never know what to expect them to look like!

·         Face Jugs and Face Jars - The Clay Folks!

Hand building is an area we also enjoy working in.  Sculpting plants unto vases has become a new area to work in.  We enjoy learning about glazes and design styles of the past.
