Tree of Life

Having grown up on a farm in North Dakota, I have many tree memories. One is of an old Cottonwood tree near a wetland. There was a hollow at the base that tended to always be home to someone. It seemed natural to add a little fox to this one. It also was hollow in the center, and many a bird called it home. This piece took the most time of all my pieces. I had to gradually dry this one out, and am amazed it made it through two firings. We spent a bit more to have this one double framed. I am not sure who is going to have a harder time letting this one go, Ted or I? We will be asking $295 for this one. Ted may shoot me, as I know he thought it should be higher. MANY hours of time invested. I want it to find a loving home!
